Dixie Outdoors is the newest tackle/hunting store in the Allatoona area. The owners Donnie and Melissa Herrin just opened up their new Hunting and Fishing shop last week in downtown Acworth right on Main St.

Donnie is planning on making this store a total hunting and fishing pro shop. He has a wide variety of tackle already in stock and is adding to it daily. Currently he carries alot of the more popular tackle brands such as Spro, Bomber, Bandit, Zoom, Net Bait, Booyah, Robo Worm, hal fly crappie jigs just to name a few and also has live bait such as minnows in 4 different sizes as well as live worms and crickets.

Donnie and Melissa also plan on catering to the hunting crowd by becoming a full service center for Hoyt and Matthews Bows and also have an outdoor bow range and carry a full array of firearms, ammunition and accessories ranging anywhere from Scopes to Binoculars to custom gas and electric operated golf carts. They are also going to offer popular hunting brands such as API and Summit tree stands, full array of ground blinds and also Primos Hunting Game calls and much more.
